          • 1993-1996, Master's degree, Counseling Psychology and Counselor Education

The faculty are friendly, kind, accessible and very much care about their students. For those interested in Psychology it provides great programs, classes and experiences that will make you competitive in the world of employment.

          • 1993-1996, M.Arch, Fine art, Architecture

An instructor of mine in the School of Architecture said (and I paraphrase...), "An architect has their feet in the mud and their head in the heavens." This is a roundabout way of characterizing the education I received while in Graduate School. The teachers are engaged in the practice of architecture - designing buildings and forming the landscape - and also aware of architectural history and current theory. A student is encouraged to dream, and is given the tools to ground that dream and so make its realization possible.

          • 2009-2014, Bachelor's Degree, Individually Structured: History, Politics, and Psychology

I am about to graduate in December, and have always loved that I was able to work and volunteer while continuing my degree progress. I kept living my life and going to classes without needing to do the fully immersive campus thing, and got a great education all the while. Professors are often really involved in things around town and are themselves up to more than just campus life.
