What a wonderful experience I had...beautiful campus, a bunch of extra-curricular things to do, and a good education in Business AND Education! Also, some of the best disc golfers in the country graduated from UNI, thanks to many courses, competitors, and opportunities to play in the area.

          • 1967-1972, Bachelor of Science

The Univ. of Northern Iowa helped be become the person I am today. It helped me grow into a responsible adult and prepared me well for my career as a teacher and administrator. Also, I found my wife of 43 years who also was a student at UNI. I enjoyed my classes and my social life there and still remain in contact with old friends who also attended UNI. UNI is not too small and not too large and has the values of the Iowa culture with has stayed with me for years. Go Panthers!
