In 2006, I applied to Cal State East Bay to take some music coursework. Dr. Wesley Broadnax, who was then the Director of Bands supported my career goals and found time to teach me with coursework to fit my after work schedule. It may have been the longest, hardest commute of my life but my dream to teach Music was fulfilled because of Cal State East Bay.
I shall never forget the wonderful experience I had as a CSUH student earning my BA degree. The education received, and how I have be able applied such knowledge in every aspect of my life is priceless.
1980-1984, Bachelor of Science
Learned basic business knowledge, networked with future employers, developed leadership skills and made lifetime friendships. I found my Cal State education to be both practical, relevant and challenging. I would recommend Cal State East Bay to anyone looking to further themselves personally and professionally.
