School Description

Established in 1818, Saint Louis University is among the nation's older Catholic universities and today enrolls nearly 13,000 students in its 12 colleges and schools across which the university offers near 200 undergraduate and postgraduate degree programs in areas of arts and sciences, business, education, engineering, aviation, technology, health sciences, law, medicine, nursing, philosophy and letters, and social work.             Great for a Career Change

            When I was looking to go back to school for a career change, Saint Louis University was the one school locally (I live in StL) that was very receptive to the idea. SLU allowed me to attend classes around my work schedule. Because of SLU I was able to achieve that career change! I would highly recommend an education from Saint Louis University.

            Recommendation for School of Professional Studies

            I think what I most valued about my experience with the School of Professional Studies was the faculty. I was fortunate to learn under people who were experts in their fields and exposed us to the latest technologies that they were using. They were willing to go above and beyond to help their students to take their education as far as their individual abilities would allow. I had instructors who offered not only their time in class, but to serve as mentors and consultants as I moved forward in my career. I would recommend the program to prospective students, and advise that they use the resources it offers to the fullest extent possible.
