          • 2002-2006, Bachelor's degree

            Business School

I am very happy with my decision to graduate from UAB. The urban location helped me attain real world experience while attending full time. The class sizes and level of faculty expertise were all perfect as well.

          • 1995-2000, Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)

            Superb education and amazing instructors.

U.A.B. provides a sense of focus for a person's educational goals. My instructors were not only very well versed in their areas of expertise, but they were also serious about teaching. My experience at U.A.B. could not have been better.

UAB - A PLACE FOR GROWTH!

I have probably attended UAB for more years than many students (other than the doctors!) as I began in nursing and ended up with an accounting degree many years later. While UAB may not be the same traditional college environment as UA, I actually moved from Tuscaloosa to attend UAB because of their top notch medical program. By the time I decided to go into accounting, I was already in Birmingham and loved both the city and the school. I am still very connected to many of my professors and met a lot of my current business connections in the classes there. Class sizes were perfect in that I never felt like a lost face in a crowd and professors were always willing to help when it was needed. I ended up with my CPA, passing on the first try due to the foundation laid by the staff at UAB and finished up my masters degree there as well. Can't even say enough good things about this school!!
