School Description

With roots dating back from the year 1847, University of Gloucestershire has been in the business of providing quality education for nearly 170 years. Today, it is made up of 10 schools through which it offers a variety of bachelor's degree courses in 26 subject areas and 10 in master's degree courses related to fields such as art and design, business, computing and technology, education, health and social care, humanities, leisure, media, natural and social sciences, sports and exercise. University of Gloucestershire is spread across three campuses—Francis Close Hall and The Park in Cheltenham and Oxstalls in Gloucester, all of which boasts of its own on-campus refectory, bar, library, teaching rooms, and accommodation so you'll find virtually everything you need without leaving the university. Ranked among the top 10 safest places to study, Gloucestershire is home to the stunning town of Cheltenham which has a variety of opportunities for cultural, athletic, and recreational activities, with over 45 local festivals each year and a great outdoor setting for hiking, mountain biking, and canoeing among others, there's an endless list of exciting things to do at Cheltenham.

University of Gloucestershire requires international students to demonstrate their English language proficiency through an acceptable score on an approved English language test like IELTS. If you do not meet this requirement, however, you may still apply to an INTO University of Gloucestershire Pathway program, the purpose of which is to prepare international students like you in academics and in the English language so that you may be able to integrate into the student life in UK, all while earning a university credit hours towards a degree program at University of Gloucestershire.
